Neck pain
Neck pain is a very common problem in our "electronic device-centric" world. Posture and prolonged positioning can play a large role in the development of neck pain, which can be muscular, joint or nerve related. Some sports also have a high incidence of neck pain, for example swimming.
Some symptoms associated with neck injury that you may not be aware of are headaches, nausea, dizziness, tinnitus (ringing in the ears), difficulty swallowing.
Your physiotherapist, through examination and history collection will be able to determine the structures involved and the likely cause of the injury. They will then be able to offer treatment to reduce your symptoms and implement a program to assist in your recovery.
